The quantities of the participants for the individual performances, is
limited, and will be picked by the applications on a first come,
first served basis.
The Festival
will present a maximum of 50
orchestras or bands, in individual
20
min concerts.
The festival welcomes
youth or very
young groups, without limitations of age, size of the orchestra or
band, or type of repertory.
Orchestras or bands
must make all
types of arrangements on their own, including food, lodgings, and
transportation.
Each orchestra or band
must come to the concerts with their own personnel that should stay
watching for the musicians personal belongings while they are
performing.
The orchestras or
bands, from low income
zones, are invited to apply for lodgings scholarships, which are
available through EIOJ, who will send all information necessary, and all
applications
needed. The scholarships are limited, and will be given as
priority,
to those of the least monetary means, and on a first come, first
served basis.
The individual concerts will be given
on October
17th, and 18th,
2009,
at the "Facultad
de Derecho" auditorium,
and the last evening
concert will be given on
October
19th, 2009
at the "Luna Park" Stadium,
which has a capacity of 6.000 spectators. At this last concert
all
of the members of all
the orchestras or bands, will come together on stage, as a “mega
symphony orchestra” of more than 1.500 young players, performing a
special program, designed specially for this event. Previously, there
will be one rehersal, also at the "Luna Park", of the specially
selected program.
The
IX EIOJ
will offer master classes for the young students, and a
work shop and lectures for the conductors of the different orchestras
& bands.
The orchestras or bands interested in participating in this festival
must subscribe attaching

3.High resolution picture of the conductor

the orchestra or band.
4.List of the program (no more than
20 minutes of music),

each piece.
5.List with players´ ID
number, date of birth and e-mail address.
